What is the WriteNow Ultimate Digital Teacher planner? 

A digital notetaking planner that is designed to be useful in every aspect of your teaching life. The WriteNow Planner replaces the paper versions of your weekly planner, diary, mark book, note pad and much more. As it is digital, everything is secure, easy to access and much more efficient which aims to save you time and keep you organised. 

Can I link the WriteNow planner to my calendar app? 

The WriteNow Teacher Planner is a PDF template so it can't sync to your Google, Outlook or Apple calendar directly but we have integrated links that will allow you to open -in one click- the corresponding scheduling window in Google, Outlook or Apple calendar app for that date - such a time saver! See our calendar feature in real time on our tutorial videos. Schools most often use the Apple calendar to sync and feed into their shared school Outlook Calendar. 

Do I need an iPad to use the WriteNow planner? 

No, any tablet will work as long as it has a PDF annotation app like Goodnotes installed. The planner will work on phones too but many of its features are optimised for a tablet sized screen. That being said, our WriteNow Teacher Planner has been tested and designed by us using an iPad and currently all of our instructional videos are all based on an iPad using the Goodnotes app – so this is certainly a great option. 

Is Goodnotes the only app I can use?

No! There are so many PDF annotation apps out there and whilst we haven’t tested them all, they all work similarly. Our personal favourite is Goodnotes (IOS only - free basic version is great to get you started!) and currently our set-up and tutorial based content is centred around Goodnotes. However, many other great apps exist - Notability and Noteshelf for IOS and NoteShelf and Foxit PDf for Android - being among the best. (*Kilonotes app currently does not support external links, so it is not recommended for use with this planner; One Note is not supported either). If you have a favourite app that you already use – give it a whirl. 

Can I personalise my planner?

Yes! The planner is designed to be personal to you! Using your PDF notation tools you can highlight, write, insert images, insert/duplicate pages and even use stickers. 

How do I receive my planner after purchasing? 

After purchasing, you will be redirected to a confirmation page a where a link to your download will be available. This link is also sent to you via email along with a separate welcome email. Important: you can only download the planner once so please download it onto the device you intend to use. 

I didn’t receive my download link. What should I do?

Check your spam/junk folder first! If it’s not there, get in touch with your order number, and we’ll help you right away.

How do I set up my planner?

Is WriteNow Planner GDPR compliant? 

Yes. Once you purchase the planner and install it onto your device, you have full responsibility of any data that is produced and stored. The planner is completely ‘offline’ and can no longer be accessed or edited by us. The app that you use will have their own data handling policies (please check to ensure they are GPDR compliant). Therefore, with proper use, the planner can be used in line with your current data handling policy. Please also see our Data Policy and Terms and Conditions for more information. 

Can I share my planner with colleagues?

No – the planner is copyrighted and only the individual purchaser has the right to access and use it. However, sharing is caring! If you think several of your colleagues would be interested, let us know and we will look to offer a discount for a multiple order. 

I have downloaded my Teacher Planner to the wrong device – help! 

You are limited to only one download of your planner from your purchase link (this is to help protect our product from fraudulent use). If this has happened to you, do not panic – get in contact with one of the team and we will be able to help you get your planner onto the right device. Contact us via the website. Don’t forget to include your name and order details. 

Can you help me set up a whole school package? 

Yes! We will happily assist with supporting all teachers in your school to use our WriteNow Teacher Planner. We will even run CPDs to help share some of the best features. Get in touch and we can talk about a package deal, personalisation and whole school support.
